Nehemiah’s Restoration is helping to “Stop the Cycle of Poverty”
by liberating orphans from the hopelessness left them from the untimely
death of their parents. Through the use of our seven point program,
these orphaned children are being kept off the streets, out of
orphanages and supported in their extended-families homes in the most
heavily HIV affected areas of the world.

Project Book Bag Click to See Bags
There are over 18 million orphaned and vulnerable children in our world today due to HIV/AIDS. Many of them live without anyone to provide for their many needs, while others have caregivers who simply can't provide for them adequately. "Project Book Bag" is a sustainable solution to the long-term problem of poverty these children and their caregivers face every day. By purchasing this beautifully handcrafted "Book Bag" you are helping to maintain a small business that provides a modest income for an AIDS Orphaned family. "Project Book Bag" is just one part of "Seven Essential Services" provided through our program called AIDSOrphan712.
Many caregivers are able to handcraft jewelry, paint, sew garments or make other items of utility, but have no funds to finance their efforts and find little to no marketplace to sell their products locally. To solve this problem, the partnership of Nehemiah's Restoration and Nazarene Compassionate Organization (NCO) has developed the resources for these indigence people to engage in an international business.
The Book Bags of Project Book Bag are a cooperative effort starting with NCO personnel recruiting widows and orphans in need and teaching them the craftsmanship of materials purchasing, sewing, artistic painting and needle work. The bag materials are purchased through the funding of Nehemiah's Restoration, then an income is provided for each person involved in the construction of the bag. Nehemiah's Restoration then ships the bags to the United States and sells them for the total cost of its production and processing.
The following are stories of those lives being changed by this project.
My name is Jenipher. I live in a village many miles from Kisumu, Kenya. I lost my husband in 2002 as a result of HIV and AIDS. We had twelve children together of whom only three are still alive today. I am also HIV positive! Making these Book Bags helps me to provide an income for my two children. Though I am living with HIV and AIDS, through the help of Nehemiah’s Restoration, I am learning to be a good role model in my community by showing people you can live a positive life with this disease. Thank you for supporting my family by purchasing a Book Bag. I hope you enjoy it!
My name is Hellen. My mother died of HIV and AIDS when I was 5 years old. My father who is also HIV positive left me behind, because he could not support me. Through the help of Nehemiah's Restoration and Nazarene Compassionate Organization. I was connected with my current family. I love working on "Project Book Bag", because it helps me to pay for my secondary school tuition. I hope to further my education to a higher level of studies through this project and one day have a small business of my own. This way I can support myself and other children like me. God bless you for supporting me by buying this book bag. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My name is Mary. My husband and I are the caregivers to 4 orphaned children (ages 10, 12, 14 and 14) who lost their parents as a result of HIV and AIDS. My husband and I are both HIV positive. We farm our land, but it is not enough to provide for all of us. That is why I am involved in "Project Book Bag", because it helps me to provide additional income for our extended family children under our care. Praise God for this blessing! Thank you for supporting us and our extended family by purchasing this Book Bag. I hope you enjoy it!

Nehemiah’s
Restoration is on the crest of a groundbreaking journey in the cause to
bring international awareness to the devastation HIV/AIDS is leaving on 17 million orphaned children in our world today!
Through the use of video and social media, Nehemiah's Restoration is embarking on a project that could potentially empower millions of people globally with the ability to restore the lives of these 17 million AIDS Orphans. However, in order to reach all 17 million children with our AIDSOrphan712 project, Nehemiah's Restoration must raise the funds needed to produce a video that has the potential of traveling virally on any number of social media networks available to us today!
The project called, AIDSOrphan712VIDEOProject will capture a real-life story of how a family struggles to survive when the last remaining parent is dying of AIDS and reveal the horrible devastation it leaves behind on the children after they have lost both their parents to this disease.
This video project will cost approximately $25,000.00 and several months to produce!
Will you please help us produce this video project, so we can engage millions of people to help these children who are in desperate need of assistance?
But we cannot do this alone!
- psychological counseling
- healthcare for sexually transmitted diseases
