Who We Are

Our Purpose:

We believe in what the LORD Almighty commands:

"Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.  Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor.  Do not plot evil against each other."   Zechariah 7:9-10

Nehemiah’s Restoration is a faith-based (501c3) non-profit organization that believes in the need to restore the mental, physical and spiritual well-being of people who are in need of long-term disaster recovery.  (i.e. flood, earthquake, tornado, hurricane, tsunami, pandemic, etc)

Nehemiah’s Restoration is called to the preservation of the human mind, body and soul.  We do this by providing psychological, physical, medical and spiritual assistance to victims of life-altering disasters.   Additionally, we assist in identifying effective indigenous leaders and invest in their leadership by supplying monetary resources, facilities, training and support systems to increase the effectiveness of the long-term recovery efforts for the people they love and serve.

Our Core Values:

  • Established on a biblical foundation of compassion, (Zechariah 7:9-10)
  • Minister to the mind and body, to capture the soul (evangelism)
  • Make Disciples of Christ
  • Maintain an organization of integrity
  • Create like-minded strategic partnerships & alliances
  • Strive for the highest return on investment (ROI)
  • Maintain a fairly flat organizational structure
  • Be servants of indigenous leaders
  • Identify, engage & invest in a core of volunteers
